Show CADETS CONDEMNED TO WALK AS PUNISHMENT WASHINGTON. April 2fi. Three. young West Point cadets will have a fair chance to b'reak Pedestrian Weston's record as the penalty for hazing fourth class men, under the terms of an order Issued by the superintendent of the military academy. Had It not been for the special act of congress as authorizing the secretay of war to dispose of their cases In accordance accord-ance with the new regulations, they would have been expelled from the academy. Cadet Robert N. Bodlne drew a sentence sen-tence of confinement to tho barracks, area and gymnasium, and of walking the usual punishment tour each Wednesday and Saturday until the cadets go into summer camp. Thereafter he Is to bo confined to one part of the camp and to walk five hours dully (excepting Sundays and holidays) hol-idays) until July n, Cadets Edward C. Boykln and Harold M. Raynor of tho third class arc to have the same punishment except that their tours will expire June 25. |
