Lako chapter of tho American Amer-ican Institute of Banking, at the Commercial Com-mercial club, Thursday night, delegates to Ihc national convention of the American Institute of Bunking, to be held at Seattle .luue 21, 22 and 20, were elected as follows: William jMc.Ewau of Zion's Savings Bank and Trust company, l M. Mick-elson Mick-elson of the Utah Commercial and Savings Sav-ings bank, R. R. Sharkey of tho Commercial Com-mercial National bank, CI. H. Butler of the Utah National bank, and .1. If. Patrick of Mef'oruie.k it Co. An interesting programme was carried car-ried out at the meeting of which tho feature was the address by Judge T. D. Lewis on commercial law. The judge explained many phases of the law as if applied to banking matters, and especially espe-cially tho law relating to negotiable instruments. Arrangements were made for a banquet ban-quet to bo held at the Commercial (dub some, time in the latter part, of May, when it is proposed lo bring together all members of tho chapter and invito a number of prominent bankers of the I city.
