Show Willard Brevities.; Special to The Tribune. WILLARD, July 24. The Willard Fruit Growers' association is now fully prepared to receive and handle all of the fruit of this piace. A new shipping depot has been built, at tho railroad, and all fruit is taken directly there. Bofore this 3'enr all the fruit from Willard has gone through the hands of private shippers, ship-pers, and as a result the highest prices were not always secured. Now there is no middleman commission, bur, tho fruit grower gets the full amount that his trait brings. Joseph Hubbard is president presi-dent of the association, Pctor Lowo vice president and James M. White general ma nager. Today has been very quietly ojiscrved hore. Several fishing parties spent the day along the various streams, and still others wcro seekers of sequestered nooks in the canyons. Peter Lowe leit todny for a ivcok's visit with relatives in Logan and Paradise. Para-dise. Elihu Call and wifo of Salt Lake, who have been visiting here for a few days, left tonight for tho Yellowstone park. Mrs. Jacob Zundol has gone to Butte, her former home, to visit with her mother. Mrs. D.. F. Harding left today for Rexburg, Jda., to visit with relatives. Frank J. Lowe spent the twenty-fourth twenty-fourth in Cache county. Mrs. Caroline Stauftcr, who has been hero for two weeks, returned lo her home in Logan today. Mrs. E. Rossitor of Snlt Lake is visiting visit-ing with Mr and Mrs. A. L. Badlcy. Mrs. Paul Rlkins of Salt Lako was a Willard visitor during tho week. |
