WJlson asked, permission to use ten acres of city ground near Utah lake' for pleaaurc resort purposes. The matter was referred to a committee. The firemen fire-men asked that the rooms over the fire station be renovated .and put In condition to be used by the department. The city sexton asked that he be given sufficient help to keep the cemetery in good condition condi-tion during the summer. A number of business men met in the Provo Commercial club rooms last evening eve-ning nnd organized a bicycle league. The object of llie organization Is. to assist In the enforcement of the. bicycle ordinance recently passed. Annie Clos has begun suit In the district dis-trict court for divorce against James J. Close, alleging as a cause tlmt. the defendant de-fendant Is an habitual drunkard and has treated plaintiff in a cruel and Inhuman manner.
