Show H WASHINGTON Announces that There Will Be Changes in Administration of Forests. F. E. Beuedicf.- chief inspector of district, four of the United Stales forest for-est service, returned Tuesday morninc from Washington, D. C, where he has been in atendanco at a convention of chief foresters. Tho convention was called for the purpose of advising the department heads of conditions in tho respective national forests and examining exam-ining into the details of the administration administra-tion of the service. Tho various problems prob-lems which are peculiar to the individual indi-vidual districts and with which the inspectors in-spectors are confronted were carefully explained for the benefit of those attending at-tending the convention and numerous suggestions were made and adopted, Mr. Benedict- expresses gratification upon his return lo Salt Lake f'ity aud announces that certain changes hi the administration of national forests which will be of great, interest to stock men and settlers will soon become effective. |
