Show Y. W. C. A. LUNCHROOM PROVES A SUCCESS According to announcement, the new quarters of the Young Women's Christian Chris-tian association, including rest and lunch rooms, opened Monday, July 8. The average daily attendance at lunch has been eighteen. Tho menu each day iB attractive , and appetizing, and tho 1 prices as low as can bo made. I Tho rest-room has been a. boon to a number of women, and the varied calls at the office show something of the importance im-portance of such a work. A number of young women, realizing realiz-ing as never before the benefits to be derived, have become members, and are enthusiastic over a. work which is attempting to provide for their needs. Ont-ot-town guests are appreciative, and express great surprise at. the newness new-ness of the work in a city such as this, when tho need is so great. With the co-operation and support that it has a. right to expect thore is no reason why the capital city of Utah should not, in time, maintain a model association, whose object shall ever be the best und highest development of young women. |
