Tho Scots wore out to do things up as they aro done In tho natlvo land and Scottish customs prevailed cvorywhoru. The afternoon was spent in Caladonian games of all sorts. Foot races of all kinds and a bic ansociation football gamo wore tho features which attracted tho crowds over to tho raco track in tho afternoon. The results of tho events follow: Raco for boys under 12 Axe! Andorson; girls under 12 Enna Plaits, Mary Smith: girls under 4 Bryco Grade; lady'i; race Affnes Graham. In tho evening all tho Scots gathered on tho largo dauco pavilion and until midnight wont through tho rounds In the lino of fancy Scottish dancos. Bennlo McPhlo was on hand in his kilts and with his bagpipe and a number of tho young Scots were on hand with all their craco to dance. Miss Agnes Willis danced tho highland fling in most graceful manner and Afton Murdoek did tho hornpipe. Two tolos wero also given during tho evening, the singers being Miss Campbell and Mrs. Snider. The party of jolly tJcots broko np at midnight and wendod their way home entirely en-tirely satisfied with a merry time together. |
