Miss Jeanettc Luman was the hostess host-ess of a beautifully-appointed luncheon lunch-eon at the Knutsford yesterday in honor of Miss htholyn Gardiner and Miss Juno Whittomore. Tho round table was profusely decorated in shasta daisies with a large mound for tho centerpiece and many singlo ones dropped over the cover. The place cards were hand-painted Colonial ladies la-dies with white satin bows on each. Covers were laid for Miss Gardiner, Miss Whittemore, Miss Dufli, Miss McMillan. Mc-Millan. Miss Mildred McMillan, Miss Daly, Miss Edna Rivers, Miss Halloran, Miss Blyth, Miss Erma Rivers, Miss Machatelle, from Rutte, Miss LaLondo from Minnesota. Mrs. .1. C. Dnly, Mrs. E. J. The favors were bunches of white flowerH tied with the red, whito and blue ribbon. About thirty enjoyed tho afternoon. Hamilton, Ham-ilton, at the Bransford. M.rs. B. F. Caffre3' and family leave today for the Hermitage to spend three or four weeks. t Mrs. N. M.
