Word was received re-ceived here today ?to the effect that Marcus Mar-cus B. Zimmer. a resident and a former for-mer business man of this place, had died of heart trouble at Marshfiold, Ore., whore ho and his family 'had gone to spend the summer. Mr. Zimmer wns a populnr citizen of Boise and his many friends wore indeed pained to learn of his untimely denth. Ho was heavily Interested In-terested In real estate here at the time of his death. Ho was a very progressive man. The deceased was a member of the Masonic lodge of this city, and will be burled under Us auspices. His family will, "no doubrr arrive with the body tomorrow. to-morrow. Tho Idaho State university has been sued by the Phoenix Lumber company, suit having been .Med today in tho United States Circuit Court against the regents. The suit is to collect $3000 due plaintiff for lumbor. Payment of the amount claimed to bo due had been refused several sev-eral times. k According to a statement of the Stale Horticultural Inspectors, 'a number of fruit growers are soon to be prosecuted for selling bad fruit in this section. Arrests Ar-rests are liable to take place at any lime. Tho State Dental Board. In session here, elected the following officers for the ensuing year: President. Dr. C. E. M. Loux, Pocatello; secretary-treasurer, Dr. E. L. Burns, Boise. In addition to the above, the following were chosen members of tho board: Dr. S. A. Mulkey of Soldier. Dr. T. Bovd Mr-Bride Mr-Bride of Moscow, Dr. William Youngberg of Coeur d'Alene. |
