William Hurst, Government supervisor of the Beaver and Fillmnru forest reserves, re-serves, Is In tho city. Last year tho lands ombrnced In theso reserves were withdrawn from public use. In protecting protect-ing these reserves from alleged encroachment encroach-ment by stockmen. Supervisor Hurst says: "I have had no trouble; In fact, I have forgotten how to spoil the word. Tho Heaver reserve Is going to bo extended In the west to increase nnd keep pure tho water supply of Beaver and other communities com-munities on the west side of the mountain moun-tain ranges." The purpose Is to furnish light and power to all tho towns nnd mining camps In Beaver county. This will furnish light and power to Mll-ford, Mll-ford, Frisco and Nowhouse on tho west. Tho Nunn company has 750,000 feet of lumber out to bo used In tho building of tho plant, work upon which will begin ns soon as the snow has sufficiently melted.
