In part, as follows: "On the Equitable group there nre at least fle distinct gold-bearing gold-bearing veins. Judging from what Is in sight It Is safe to say that they vary from two to forty feet in width. Average samples taken from the exposures expo-sures on the different veins show from fourteen to thirty-six dollars dol-lars per ton. Of eourse selected nre can be had Whlcb runs much higher. These veins belong to the same fissure zone as those of the Tramp, Eclipse and Denver series on adjoining properties, and can be traced on the surface for nearly three-quarters of a mile, and wherever opened will pan and show good values In gold. "I have no hesitancy In saying that the property possesses far greater inducements as a mining Investment than ordinarily offered, of-fered, and the chances are more than favorable that It will mak a mine, it Is with full confidence confi-dence the above statement la made; and It Is with high satisfaction, satis-faction, after many months of "travel through the mining regions re-gions of the West and the expenditure ex-penditure of much money without with-out recommending one solitary mining Investment, to be enabled nt last to feel Justified In wilting a favorable report. '"In an experience of twenty years active mining throughout the West, no series of gold veins have come under the observation of the writer, which had better showings with like development and like area." |
