Mrs. Louisa Burgon Knowlden died In this city last Tuesday and tho funeral will be hold next Tuesday at tho Seventeenth ward moot-lng-houss at 2 p. m. Mrs Knowlden was y years of ago and had lived hero slneo lb71. coming from Portsmouth, England. Sho was a devoted member of tho Mormon Mor-mon church and leaves two sons and a daughter Her husband also survives. Fred Knowlden, ono of her sons, lives near Vernal and could not reach homo until yesterday and for that reason tho funeral was delayed until ho could reach home. Mrs. Knowlden had many friends who will regret her death. ONE of the best song services heard here In a long time was that at Phillip's Congregational church last evening. Thu church was lllled and tho congregation greatly appreciated the beautiful music rendered. Tho programmo Included soloo by Miss Turnor and Miss Dunham; several sev-eral tine anthems by tho choir and a number by a quartette, including Miss Turner. Miss Dunham. Mr Frewln and Mr. Nottleton.
