No matter what tho opera or drama or what the cost thereof, John W. and tho Judge family could be seen In tho most exponslve box. It caused considerable talk among tho American colony along tho Boulovnrd Hausmann and tho American soon became ono of tho leading figures on the thoroughfares of tho French capital, while his wealth was dilated upon ton times over. It was while he was living In Paris that ho received word of his son.
