Tho Grand Gulch Copper Mining company com-pany whose mines ore In tho northern portion por-tion of Mohave county, Ariz., aro about to construct a wagon road from Grand Gulch to Moapa for tho transportation of their ore. This will mean a saving of about seventy miles nH they formerly shipped by way of St. George and Mo-dena. Mo-dena. a distance of about )3T, miles. Superintendent Su-perintendent Isaac Jennings passed through here yesterday en route to Grand Gulch to take charge of the work of construction, which It Is said will he started Immediately. |
