Show SECRET SOCIETIES. Fraternal Brotherhood. A class of six new members wan Initiated Ini-tiated at tho meeting of Utah lodge No. 3 GO of the Fraternal Brotherhood on last Friday night, and five new applications were presented and acted upon favorably. Utah lodge Intends to make good uuo of the special dispensation granted and It Is expected that Its membership will be doubled dou-bled before the first of the new year. General Gen-eral Organizers Brother and Sister Malona wore visitors at the meeting, as were also several other members of Sceo Lily and Salt Lake lodges nnd Park City lodge. Rebekah State Assembly. On Saturday. November 12, Mrs. P. A. Cook of Ogden. president; Mrs. Sidney Darke of Salt Lake, vice-president: Mrs. S. P. Brcrlon of Provo. warden and Mrs. Malvlna Crano of Mt. Pleasant, chaplain of the Rebekah State assembly, paid an official visit to Sego Lily Rebekah lodge No. 11. "at Mt. Pleasant. A good crowd of MlsteuH and brothers nnd greeted the visitors, and at tho close of the evening s programme n banquet wan served. Evergreen lodge of Mantl was visited on Monday evonlng. when a reception, attended bv Uebekahs and Odd Fellows and their families was held nnd a pleasant pleas-ant and profitable hour was snent. Games, music and speeches filled the programme and a tine lunch was served. The next stop was at NephI, and the officers enjoyed a unique experience on tho Sanpete train. The engineer, tire-man tire-man and conductor were all Odd Fellows, and the wonders of tho canyon. Including tho magnificent natural amphitheater anil Friar's Head, were pointed out In a most Interesting way. Nebo lodge No. 10, of NephI, was visited, vis-ited, and, n.s usual, everything possible was done to honor the officers. The ladles will end their southern trip at Mllford. W. R. C. Tho McKcan post nnd corps will give a soclnl and dnncc at their hall. In the Jennings building on First South, Tuesday Tues-day evening, November 22. I. 0. O. F. Oqulrrh encampment No. 1 will havo a regular meeting tomorrow night at Its hall on Market street, and. as It Is probable prob-able that the ros'al purple degree will bo conferred for Golden Rule encampment, encamp-ment, there should be a full attendance of tho degree staff. Canton Colfax No. 1. Patriarchs Militant, Mili-tant, mndo four chevaliers last Tuesday night, and has two applications which were not represented, but probnbly will be at tho cantonment on December 13. This" will be an Important meeting, as tho officers for the year IMG must then be elected, thnt the Installation may be held In January. 1M5. It Is being considered con-sidered by tho chevaliers to have an entertainment en-tertainment for the members and their wives on tho night of the installation of the new officers, which will be mi attractive at-tractive addition to tho ceremonies. Fidelity lodge No. 17. I. O. O. F.. at Its meeting on Wednesday night, had a lino attendance of members and visitors, and a highly enjoyable service. Tho lodge hud invited the lodges of tho city, and all were represented. Enterprise lodge No. 15, which meets on the same night as No. 17, after concluding Its lodge business, entered In a body and its members mem-bers were warmly welcomed, ns also were all visitors. Cigars were passed and a pleasant time was passed listening to remarks re-marks of the visiting brothers. On account ac-count of this lodge receiving members constantly. It Is necessary to havo degree work at every meeting, and on this occasion oc-casion the third degree was given, the degree staff being highly complimented upon Its efficient work. Degree staff work Is a speclul feature of this lodge, and at every meeting there Is work In some of the degrees. On next Wednesday Wednes-day night there will be. work In tho Initiatory Ini-tiatory degree, and all Odd Fellows arc Invited. A P. N. G. Club.
