Show Ono of the elaborately appointed lunch-cons lunch-cons of tho season was that of yester-dny. yester-dny. when Mrs. Thomas Marloncaux entertained en-tertained some thirty friends at the Commercial Com-mercial club. The round table was laid ln the prlvato dining-room and was beautiful beau-tiful with itrt decorations of pink and green. In the center of the table was a tall cut-glass vase holding an Immense cluster of bridesmaid roses, tho base of the vase imbedded in ax mass of plumosa, xIth delicate sprays of tho green falling from the vase over the cloth. On cither side clusters of rocs and sprays of plumosa were scattered over the cloth, whllo a rope of plumosa, thickly studded with the delicate pink roses, was placed Just within the plntes and extended th full distance around the table. After the luncheon tho beautiful flowers were presented pre-sented to the guests. Hand-painted place cards ln conventional designs wero found at tho plated. All tho curtains were drawn and the pink-shaded electroliers cast a pretty light over the room Mrs. Marloncaux Is always a most charming hostess and her guests yesterday pronounced pro-nounced the luncheon one of tho mcst delightful of the season.
