Show DEAD BUILDER REPdEMBERED Seventy Children nnd Grandchildren Celebrate ItTr. Folsom's Birthday. The ninetieth birthday of the late William Wil-liam IT. Folsom was fittingly celebrated yesterday and last evening by a gathering at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Amelia Folsom Young. About seventy of his children chil-dren and grandchildren assembled at ihe hospitable homo and passed a very pleasant pleas-ant time with tho hostess. Vocal and instrumental in-strumental music were features, and Bishop Bish-op Taylor of tho Fourteenth ward mado j-omo remarks, bolng reminiscent of the life and work of the well-known pioneer. Mr. Folsom was a noted architect and builder during the uarly days of Utah and was employed by tho late President Brig-ham Brig-ham Young as superintendent of construction construc-tion on somo of the most notable buildings build-ings In the city, including the- great Temple. Tem-ple. For years he resided at Mantl, where he built tho famous Mantl temple, which stands on the brow of tho hill and is built of white oolite stono quarried from tho samo hill.
