Tho postponement was made as the result Of a request from Acting Warden Wright, who dcBlrcs to bo present. Ills time, was occupied yesterday In looking after the life prisoners. Majors and Connors, who were arraigned In the criminal division of the City court. : It Is presumed that the board will name tho successor of Warden George N. Dow, deceased, at this meeting. Tho appointment lies between Dr. A. C. Young, prison physician, and former Warden War-den Arthur Pratt.
