colom There will be no mottoes After the business was disposed of Mr Mathews moved a vote of thanks to Chairman Elthnor for his efficient services to the party and T W Whitely made a similar simi-lar motion regarding Secretary EI I dredge Both motions carried annnl jnously and the old committee then adjourned ad-journed sine die The new committee I to be named at the convention Mill take up the work of the party next f week ELMER B JONES CHAIRMAN B The convention will be called to order i tomorrow morning by Secretary El dredge as Mr Elchnor will be in court f After the reading of the call Elmer B i Jones will be Introduced as the temporary I tempo-rary chairman and the fun will begin It Is expected that little will be done at the morning cession except the appointment ap-pointment of Uu regulatIon committees commit-tees but even this will be attended with more than ordinary Interest as therein there-in a hot fight on over the order of business busi-ness The convention will run through two days It being the Idea to nominate the candidates for county offices on ono day and the candidates for the Legislature on the other day The point at Issue Is as to which shall come first The candidates for the Legislature desire to come first and all the candidates for county offices arc fighting to get the right of way for the first day This matter will be fought out in the committee
