Show - Fishing in Big Cottonwood. Attorney Harry Glenn, Stenographer Frederick Fred-erick Vallandigham McGurrin and C. C. Clinc and D, M. Jackson of The Times yesterday went to Big Cottonwood canyon in pursuit of the gamy and festive trout. The stream was very high and rapid to be sure but that made no difference the quartette got there just the same and 14S speckled beauties bear testimony of their prowess. The usual accidents ac-cidents attendant upon excursions of this kind occurred and toJay Glenn is eating his meals off a shelf the result of sitting down on a dozen lish-hooks, while McGurrin, who slid down a bank and came in coutact with the stump of a young tree, is pounding his typewriter in au effort to write "A handy horse blanket, or how I got in the St. James hotel without being observed." The excursion will be repeated soon. |
