The braves arrived at 1 p. m. today on the regular Rio Grande passenger, which was nearly two hours late, and were met at the depot by a large delegation of liberals. Charley Lauge was the tirstman to step onto the platform as the train pulled into the depot, de-pot, aud he was followed by Tom Matthews and Judge Powers. The latter was instantly surrounded by a big crowd, and after shaking shak-ing hands all round, the grand sachem made his way to Mrs. Powers and the baby who were waiting for him. "How do you feel?" asked a number of persons. "Wait a minute and I will tell you." answered an-swered the judge.
