Samples of cocoons raised there this season have been Dronouoced of the first quality by French Bcriculturisif, and there ii a fair prospect of opening a very considerable consid-erable trade in silkworm eggs with France. This is a very valuable branch of industry, and wo are very glad to hear that it can bo made a succor in our country. The climate of Utah seems adapted to the growth of silkworms, silk-worms, and the people of the Territory do not lack enterprise in matters of this kind. |
