The early advent of heavy mioivs, before tho miners were prepared for winter working, suspended operations, except upon a few claims, until the spring opens. It is expected, however, that during the coming summer work upon many of tho mines will bo prosecuted prose-cuted to such an extent that will admit of their being worked throughout the winters.
