Show PACIFIC COAST SEWS. CALIFORNIA. Sau Francisco, IS. The cise of Kichard S. Messiek on ejectment against Ely Mayo, Ab Sinn, Wo Co, et al. is on trial in the U. S. circuit court, eight of the jury being negroes. Los Angeles, IS. The trial of Cren-, Cren-, shaw for murder was concluded last night. This case is the first one on the calendar of indictments growing out of the Chinese riot of October last. The evidence was conclusive, con-clusive, as to the connection of Crenshaw Cren-shaw in taking an active part in the riot, without die commission of any specified act of robbery before the murder. mur-der. The jury were out but a few minutes and returned a verdict of guilty. Counsel for the defence gave notice of an appeal.
