Show Memorial Day. This is the day appointed by the Grand Army of the Republic for the decoration of the graves of the soldiers of the nation who fell in the late struggle between the 2orth and South. The custom of strewing with flowers the graves of dead heroes is a very beautiful one and tends to keep their memories fresh in the hearts of their fellow citizens, but while this commendable ceremony is being performed throughout the land, we hope the widows and orphans of the fallen will not be forgotten.
