Taking Care of the Hat Lace can be cleansed by using alcohol alco-hol with a piece of clean flannel then wrapped around a flannelcovered bottle bot-tle till drv Chiffon must be repleated and pressed Fur and such feather trimming trim-ming as dressed birds and wings must be protected against moths and mice as well The hat Itself should be brushed or wiped free from dust and rubbed with a cloth dampened in alcohol Be careful care-ful npver to use the alcohol near afire a-fire All aigrettes quills or feathers should be wiped free from dust and wrapped by themselves I is best tQ leaye ribbon bows tied unless the ribbon rib-bon is mussed If fresh it can be used to the best advantage as already looped but if the bows are mussed untie brush press and roll up the ribbon I left In bows stuff each loop f f with tissue paper and loosely wrap the whole in the same Stuff all loops and bows of ribbon with crushed tissue paper Wrap apiece wih tssue piece of the same around each aigrette I and separate with tissue paper crushed twisted or plain as will best protect the style of garniture I there be any fur or natural feather trimming trim-ming on the hat place a bit of camphor I cam-phor gum in the box Add sufficient paper to protect the hat from all air securely or dust and tie the cords in place I
