Show A MOST PROMISING SHOWING Still Breaking Into Ore in the Triumph Tri-umph Mine The prediction has been made that the Silver City country in Tintic district dis-trict will come to the front this season sea-son with several new producing and I U I paying mines and it begins to look as if this prediction would be amply yen fled judging from recent reports from this promising camp and that within the next few months several large bodies of ore will be uncovered within a radius of a mile or two in the Silver City and Diamond region I The showing in a number of the properties there is already most encouraging en-couraging but there is none that Is i coming to the front with any greater rapidity than the Triumph in which two important strikes have been reported re-ported within the past two or three weeks and it is the opinion of experienced experi-enced mining men who have recently visited this property that it is the making of a heavy producer of the precious metals The last strike which was reported less than a week ago was in the face of a crosscut from the drift that was run from the bottom of the 100foot shaft This discovery consisted of a twofoot body of ore In which there were eight inches of high grade ore After crosscutting this however John A Kirby the manager of the mine came to the conclusion that it was nothing but a feeder to the main vein so he continued the crosscut on for a distance of 25 feet and yesterday he wrote to Mr Theodore Bruback one of the officers of the company that the I indications were that the face was breaking into another body of mineral which he believed was the mother lode It will be known within the next day or so if this is the case and if the be lief is verified the Triumph can safely be classed among the regular producers of that end of Tintic district It is also reported that the Home stake In the near vicinity of the Triumph Tri-umph Is showing up good bodies of fine copper ore and as this property has lately been equipped with a first class steam hoist there is no doubt but that it will soon join the ranks of the regular producers of the camp I |
