I BURGLAR CONVICTED Clear Case Against Davis Manti Court Proceedings Manti Jan 24J E Davis has been on trial in the Seventh district court here today upon the charge of burg lary committed at the little town of Wales some three months ago Very little testimony was introduced as i was a very clear case An objection to the panel of Jurors on the ground that they were not selected in accordance accord-ance with the provisions of the code was interposed This objection was overruled by Judge Johnson and the jury in short order returned a verdict of guilty The following business was also disposed dis-posed of today State of Utah vs Orson Clawson dismissed dis-missed on motion of prosecution The petition for approval of final petton fnal account ac-count and for decree of distribution in the matter of the estate of Jesse Jessen was granted such distribution to be in accordance with the terms of the will Inthe matter of the estate of Peter Larsen deceased the petition for sale of real estate was granted This session of the district court from present indications will be very short as there is only one case on the calendar calen-dar yet to be tried that of Philip Mars vs Peter Christensen which can be disposed of in less than two days
