Show traveledRC RICH CLAIMS DISCOVERED On the Main Road Between Monroe anti Marysvale Richfield Aug 13There is some excitement excite-ment in this section of the country among prospectors and mining men over the recent re-cent strike and discovery of some new mining property The claims are located on the main traveled road between Monroe and Marysvale on what Is known as the Marysvale summit The locators are Dr G B Loring of Monroe and F M Hay Mo den and Frank J McCaslin of King City MoThe The vein outcrops for a distance of over 600 yards and the wagon road crosses it three times while climbing the mountain The ledge has been unmolested for so long owing to the fact that it was not thought that that section of the country was mineralized and therefore no prospecting was ever done there before Dr Loring of Monroe has known of the ledge for the past four years but never had any work done on the property or had any assays made from it I The property was located the 20th of last i month and a fair sample of the ninefoot ledge was sent to Salt Lake City to be tested On the 2Sth of last month the locators lo-cators of the property received an assay from Korty Co which shows 9t m gold and a few ounces of silver Three men will be put to work at once on the property and as i is s conveniently conven-iently located being only three miles from the terminus of the Rio Grande Western i could be worked all winter if the values are found to be permanent and the quantity quan-tity of the ore proved to he enough to justify extensive development |
