Show STATIONARY ENGINEERS The Installation of Officers for the Ensuing Year At the regular meeting of Salt Lake City association No I stationary engineers engin-eers the following otlicers were installed for the ensuing year President Sheridan Smith vicepresi dent Charles McMiIls recording secretary secre-tary Thomas Donovell corresponding secretary sec-retary Arthur Knight financial secretary secre-tary W 0 McClain conductor Harry Stevenson door keeper Benjamin Southern South-ern treasurer John Baker trustees T Donovell C McMills examining committee commit-tee J Baker A Knight W O McClain instructor C McMills After the installation a spread was given at the Cullen I In reviewing the past year of Salt Lake city No1 N A S E we find the association asso-ciation was never in such good condition as at the present time The treasury shows a good balance and the membership is increasing Every member shows plainly plain-ly the benefit of the education he has received in taKing toe scranton school I course The association meets every ever Monday evening for blackboard exercise only and Wednesday evenings for business busi-ness The association extends a hearty invitation to all engineers in the city of Salt Lake that are not members of the N A S E to join at once and take advantage ad-vantage of the educational course and lectures The association also extends a hearty welcome t all employers of steam engineers en-gineers to visit their rooms sam honory members of the N A S E and take part In the lectures and discussions I is a very interesting study and further Information may be had on application to the corresponding secretary box 4 One of the main features on the pro pr gramme for 189G is a state licensing law I is the intention to have only good and sober men in charge of steam plants where life and property are concerned |
