Show FRANK J I AND I ARTHUR BROWN i I I I Continued from Page J MR BROWN OFFERS THANKS Brown then made a few remarks He said that while the platform he occupied oc-cupied was a little too high he hoped the office would not be He had no cold thanks to offer but desired to hurl at them the tender expressions of a sympathetic out at pathetic heart which was going that very moment He had the most tender feelings for those who have labored la-bored in the work of building up the party in this state for the past five years a work in which he had joined eisn before the Division moveunent was begun He regarded his selection as a reward for his efforts In the senate sen-ate he proposed to make It his business busi-ness to look after the welfare of Utah to build i up by carrying out the work which is demanded He hoped the last time for reference to the past had gone by and in the future nothing but the future would be considered In closing clos-ing he declared the welfare of his constituents con-stituents would be his first consider tion both Democrats and Republicans cans The members then adjourned to the various abodes where they sleep |
