Show REAL ESTATE AGENTS 1 A Meeting of the Association Held Yesterday Afternoon Discussion of the mortgage tax and I the appointment of a committee to confer with the legislature occupied the Real Estate Agents association yesterday afternoon in the office of J I Watts The attendance was larger than at the first meeting The bill covering the mortgage tax now before the house received consideration con-sideration Some clauses of the measure were disapproved others I condoned and a few commended A committee consisting of E B Vicks I president of the association E W Senior E E Morris and Mr Spofford was designated to wait on a joint committee com-mittee of the legislature and urge upon that bmW such modifications of the proposed bill as it is believed will be for the best interests of borrowers of money Both constitution and bylaws were submitted but action was deferred fn til the next meeting on Wednesday afternoon at the same place |
