Show I MRS WINIFRED BLACK I Has About Completed Her Work On the Roberts Case Mrs Winifred Black the staff corre respondent of the New York Journal who has been here during the past few days looking up the status of the Roberts case has about completed her work and expects to be assigned to other work any day From what can be gathered Mrs Black has been successful her mission mis-sion having secured interviews with Mr Roberts as well as members of his family She has also interviewed a number of the leading members of the Mormon church I am free to say I have found the Mormon women better xas a class than any other that I have came in contact with I do not know why it is but they appear more selfsacrificing Perhaps it is due to the fact that they have not come in contact with the outer world as much as the women of largely populated popu-lated cities of the east Why they are almost ideal They are modest and domestic in their tastes Sometimes when I am inspired oy the fresh air you have and the beautiful mountain scenery I think perhaps these conditions condi-tions have a temporizing effect and more prolific of bringing out these ideal virtues than contact with modern society so-ciety in eastern cities |
