Show 4301 RETURN OF REGULARS Utah Boys Who Went Through Philippine Phil-ippine Campaign I George Bult one of the Salt Lake boys who could hot find a place in the Utah batteries when they left for the war but who was assigned to the Fourteenth Four-teenth infantry returned home yesterday yester-day after an absence of more than a year Bult is the son of R S Bult the oldest old-est locomotive engineer in Utah The father ran the first locomotive on the Utah Central when construction was begun out of Ogden and he remained with the road for twentyone years The son enlisted in Salt Lake but he joined the Fourteenth at San Francisco Fran-cisco and became a member of company I He was discharged at Manila some months ago and remained there until the Tartar sailed for San Francisco He was in all the heavy fighting in which the Fourteenth engaged and went through it unscathed Private William B Hyde of the F > ur teenthinfantry and Private Knowles of the Fourth cavalry two Salt Lake boys Who have been fighting in the Philippines also returned iiome yesterday yester-day Private Hyde ha beeif on the sick list for months past anti has not yet fully recovered his strength |
