OCR Text	Show The Union Stock Yards CHICAGO Feb 22A morning paper says the union stock yards of Chicago are under negotiation doubtless to be sold to I an English syndicate The price is enormous for the plant 30000000 Treasurer Williams of the company says there is ne truth in the report Mr JMcMulliu of the Alton road one of the stockholders of the Union Yards company com-pany said this evening that he believed the statement that negotiations for the purchase of the yards by an English syndicate syn-dicate are pending is correct He understands under-stands the price is 20000000 instead of 30000000 President Sherman of the Stock Yards company admitted tonight that a deal might be negotiated by the eastern stockholders stock-holders without bis knowledge but he had no definite information
