Work at Jackson Park Stopped Again CHICAGO Feb HThe work at Jackson park of fixing up the site for the Worlds lair was again stopped by an idle crowd of men unable to find employment About a hundred Italian laborers who were employed grading Jackson park were intimidated by a large crowd of unemployed un-employed men night before last This morning the contractors brought back about twenty of them and put them to work in one corner of the park A mob of lop idlers soon came up and assailed the Italians and drove them away In another part of the park fifteen carpenters were putting up temporary tempo-rary buildings for the construction force The union carpenters learned they were working for less than the union scale and ordered them to quit work at once Several Sev-eral who did not move fast enough were assaulted but received no serious injuries The contractors will resume work Monday and demand police protection
