| Show Secretary Noble and Delegate Carey I WASHINGTON July 10 Secretary Noble in an interview with Delegate Carey of Wyoming today said that the policy of the administration would be broad and liberal towards the territories and that lands where there were no evidences of minerals min-erals should be sent to patent that persons who settled upon public lands or purchased pur-chased lands in good faith should have their evidences that this was his pcy and that Acting Commissioner Stons was in accord with aceort him The secretary also informed Delegate Carey that he might say to tho settlers of Wyoming that they should have their patents pat-ents and that in addition t home rule every proper encouragement would ba given to efforts looking to the advancement of the territories and their admission as states whenever prepared to assume the duties of statehood |
