| Show Settling Old Claims WASHISOTOX February 23 Senator Fair succeeded today in calling up and having passed the bill reimbursing Harris Bone and Mr Bable settlers on the Duck Valley Indian Reservation in Nevada for the value of improvements improve-ments taken and appropriated by the government for public use amounting to 5400 On motion of Fair the bill also passed under a suspension of the rules providing for the payment of 9021 to John M Dorsey and Win F Sbepard for beef and supplies furnished the troops engaged fu quelling Indian disturbances dis-turbances in 1860 in that portion of Utah now in the State of Nevada |
