Harris of Randlett will be married Thursday, Aug. 20 and a reception will follow the same evening from 7 to 9:30 p.m. in the First Ward ch;ip'l in Roosevelt. They will be making their home in Roosevelt. celia Kay Allsop and three sons of Bountiful were visiting hiT mother Bar-ta Bar-ta Jenkins for a week. Last Thursday evening a meeting was held in the Ballard Town Building to elect candidates to run for mayor and councilmcn in the Novcmtxr election. Verdon Ilcaton and Robert Shixly will be running for mayor and Carl Betts, Mafy Unruh, Al Funk and Gary Bolton for councilmcn. Karl Shislcr has iR'en mayor since Ballard became a (own six years ago and he is now retiring. Steven, son of I,nmar Fnrnsworth and Weltha Sue, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Matthews of Roosevelt were married Aug. 4 in the Moon I -'ike Building by Bishop Nielsen. A reception will be held Saturday. Aug 22 in die First Ward Chapel in Roosevelt in their honor. Friends and relatives are all invited. This young couple will lie making their home in Gusher. Bernard and Mary Iirson have received an I,I)S mission call to go to Billings, Montana. They will be leaving Oct. 29. |
