Show Henri J. Frederiksen BOUNTIFUL Henri Julius Frederiksen, age 86, died Thursday, March 7, 1991 at his home following a lingering illness. He was born Aug. '23, 1904 at Copenhagen, Denmark, the son of Niels and Caroline Andrea Marie Larsen Fredericksen. He married Irene Sudweeks Aug. 17, 1934, in the Salt Lake LDS Served on the Davis County Planning Commission for 16 years. Chairman for project to restore the Val Verda Archway. Foreman of the first Davis County Grand Jury. Was listed in Who's Who. He enjoyed church activities and was active both in Denmark and the United States. Served as Sunday School president and was an active home teacher. Survivors include: his wife Irene of Bountiful; children, Richard and Vicki Lynn Frederiksen, Bountiful; Susan and Hal Frederiksen Hansen, Sandy; grandchildren, Daniel and Joy Frederiksen, Bountiful; Kelly and Joan Frederiksen, Nampa, Idaho; Shane, Tiffany, Matthew Frederiksen, Bountiful; Andrea Petersen, Salt Lake; Adam Petersen, Las Vegas, Nev. Great-grandchildren: Rusty Daniel Frederiksen, Jody Brayden Frederiksen and Natassia Steggell. Funeral services will be held Monday, Mon-day, March 11, 1991 at 1 p.m. at the Orchard Stake Center, 3525 S. Orchard Or-chard Drive. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main St., and on Monday at the church, 11:45-12:45. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery. Temple. He immigrated to the United States Nov. 12, 1926, at the age of 22, becoming a naturalized citizen of the U.S. in 1932. He was employed with UP&L for 43 years. He served two terms as the president of the Bountiful Chamber of Commerce, where he was a member for 20 years. Member of the Lions Club, where he served a term as president. Past president of the Associated Service Club. He directed high school PTA and communities for special fund-raising events. Chairman, Davis County Cancer Drive for two years.
