Show JOB WEST VALLEY VIEW Thursday, May 5, er Students Perform Tonight 8-- - 4-- Talent Showcase Due At Eisenhower sentation at the school beginning at 7 oclock tonight (Thursday). "Traveling USA is the theme of the presentation to be directed by TAYLORSVILLE. Winners of individual talent contests held during the year at Eisenhower junior high will be featured during a pre Mavis Steadman. Narrating, as airline stewardesses, will be Heather Davidson, Lisa Reilley and Yvette Kenner. Providing dramatizations during the talent show will be Brian Acord, Bill Richardson, Eric George and Gary Higginson in Little Blue Riding Hood. Others featured in short comedy skits and blackouts will be Shane Johnson, Warren Terry, Kelly Jones, Grant Davis, Kris Milner, Kyle Rasmussen, Kent Sjobert, Tom Denison, Greg Wright, Brian Jones, with Andrea Paulsen, Jennifer Held and Deanna Hancock having speaking parts. Novelty numbers will be presented by Valerie Lewis and Becky Rasmussen and an y group. Winners in solo and group vocal who will be performing will be Holly Christmas and Kim Alvey, vocal duet and Marty Hughes, vocal solo. Jared Lees will perform a piano selection and Kerri Sabourin, a violin solo. A Dixieland band will play and Tammy Garcia will do a solo dance number. A number from Chorus Line and a drill number will be done by the dance club and a male dance number will be by Lonny Salazar, Mike Maestas and William Fa, directed by Margaret Strickland. Larry Bird will direct the stage band which will accompany production numbers. Boyd Young will lead the two girls choruses who will perform. Also involved will be students from the ninth grade drama class. Scenery is being prepared by the art department and the stage crew will be on hand. all-bo- This has been an exciting week at Granger high. Our madrigal group left on tour to Ensenada, Mexico. Junior Prom was held Saturday at a C o n g BENNION. The advanced dance class at Bennion junior high will present a concert tonight (Thursday) beginning at 7 oclock. The 18 dancers, all from the ninth grade, will present modern and jazz numbers which have been choreographed by the girls themselves. Assisting them has been Carole Palmer, dance teacher. Costuming has been provided by the school and by the girls. A modern blacklight number will be on included, as well as a take-of- f Charlie Chaplin. Officers of the dance club include Christi Bybee, president; Shelley Beck, Staci Roberts and Michelle Zdunich, board members. The concert will cost $1 for students and $1.50 for adults.
