Both mothers corsages were of white carnations. Dale Nybert was the best man with Greg Shuman, Todd Hartle, Matt Shuman, and Frank Shuman as ushers. They and the fathers wore light blue tuxedos and had lavender carnation boutinneres. The groom wore a light beige long tailed tuxedo, "arid his boutoriniefe "was" a white rose and babys breath. The bride and groom greeted guests . in front of a white rattan screen and arch trimmed in white lace and purple ribbon. The white wedding cake had four heart shaped cakes at the base with three more graduated tiers with white pillars between the layers. Lavender and light blue flowers cascaded from the top of the cake. Lavender sugar bells were also on the cake, which was topped with three white satin wedding bells. The cake was made by Delores Stephenson. Reed and Margaret Birchell greeted the reception guests. Mitzi Barnes was at the guest book. Carma Bascom, Kris Dye, and Dolly Nybert were at the gift table. Starla Gale, Kimerly Tolman, Carolyn Reynolds and Lawona Sessions were servers. Jackie Preece, Judy Whiteney, Roxanne Gale and Ada Busch helped in the kitchen. Emma Jean Murray played the traditional wedding march, and Beckie Bennion played a selection of musical numbers throughout the evening. Darwin Eggli, uncle of the bride, gave the prayer before the wedding ceremony. A kitchen and grocery shower was hosted by Ada and Merrilee Busch, and Donna and Tricia Abegglen. After their wedding trip to Midway and Salt Lake City, Howard and Sue Ann are now at home in Vernal. |
