Jane Nlattingly, Melvin Grey Married in Recent Rites Miss Jane Susan Mattingly daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Mattingly, became be-came the bride of Melvin Leslie Les-lie Grey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin J. Grey, Saturday, Satur-day, Aug. 5, at St. Pius X Catholic Church. The ceremony cere-mony was solemnized at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Charles E. Freegard. Candleabras, decorated with white carnations, adorned th ealtar. Center aisle pews were embellished with white bows. Five attendants led the ' bridal procession. They were Miss Maggie Eklund of Oklahoma Okla-homa City, Okla., maid of honor; Mrs. Chuck Russell, sister of the bride, of Austin, Texas, matron of honor; Mrs. Ronald Parry of Sandy, Utah; Mrs. Robert Shumway; andc Miss Debbie Grey, sister of the groom, both of Moab. The bridesmaids were dressed dress-ed in floor length gowns of apricot batiste and the maid of honor in apricot batiste with white flocked flowers fashioned with a high WVist line. The gathered skirts were accented by satin ribbons rib-bons of orange, white, and moss green with a back bow and cascading streamers. They wore matching . head pieces and each carried a single white rose. Flower girls were Cindy Hart and Karen Larsen, both of Moab. Their dresses corresponded cor-responded to the bridesmaids and each carried a white basket filled with white rose petals. The bride, given in marriage mar-riage by her father, wore a floor length gown of silk organza or-ganza and chantilly lace with a Sabrina neckline, chantilly lace basque bodice, long sleeves ' and bouffant skirt. The detachable Watteau train was edged in chantilly lace. Her shoulder veil of silk illusion il-lusion fell from a white satin sa-tin bow. Jim Boulden of Price was best man and groomsmen included Nate B. Knight, Ron Walker, both of Ogden; Jim Hayes; Jim Mattingly, brother bro-ther of the bride, both of Moab. Eddie and Steven Tom- sic served as altar boys. During the traditional ceremony, cere-mony, Mrs. Jack Riley, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Harold Johnson on the organ, gave a reading entitled, "Spectrum of Love." A reception followed in the church hall with Mrs. Larry Kohntopp of Filer, Idaho and Mrs. Pete Foremaster of Lay-ton, Lay-ton, Utah, sisters of the groom, presiding at the reception re-ception table. Guest table was attended by Mrs. Jim Mattingly, sister in law of the bride. Becky Wilson, Marilyn Ma-rilyn Costanza, and Merlene Day presided at the gift table. ta-ble. Following a short honeymoon, honey-moon, the couple will make their home in Ogden where they will attend college. Out cf town guests included includ-ed Mrs. C. R.
