Show ORDINANCE NO. 4-76 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AMEND-ING CHAPTER 4 MOAB CITY CODE 1965 AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE ANIMALS ANI-MALS AND FOWL, ARTICLE II DOGS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOAB, UTAH: THAT Section 4-10- of the Ordinances of Moab City, 1965, as amended be, and the same is, hereby amended to read as follows, to-wit: "Sec. 4-10. Running at large prohibited; exceptions. No owner of any dog shall permit such dog to run at large within the city. Nothing in this chapter shall require the leashing of any dog while on the private premises of anyone consenting to have the dog on his premises unleashed. No dog shall be permitted, permit-ted, even though on leash, to be or enter upon any church premises, any public hall, public garage, gas station, restaurant, ice cream parlor, soft drink parlor, office, store (excluding any pet shop), market or confectionery shop anywhere within the city during the time that such place is open for public business. No dog shall be permitted to go or be upon any school premises or grounds or public parks or recreational grounds at any time. No leash shall be greater than eight feet in length. The provisions of this section shall not apply to dogs leading blind persons.
