Show Moab Police Investigate Accidents. Vandalism Moab Police investigated three accidents and an act of vandalism during the week, according to Chief Mel Dalton. On Aug. 18 at 2:30 p.m. on Park Drive, Barbara Badger, driving a 1974 Ford, ran into a 1976 Mercury driven by Frank Tabberer, doing about $700 damage to the Mercury and $100 damage to the Ford. Mrs. Badger was cited for failure to yield right of way, causing an accident. Also Aug. 18 at 4:15 p.m. on South Main Eddie Foster, driving a 1964 Ford, hit a 1970 ' Ford driven by George Rice, doing about $50 damage to the Rice vehicle and $75 damage to the Foster vehicle. Foster was cited for following too close, causing an accident. Aug. 21 at 7:06 p.m. at Main and Center, Paul Froehlich, driving a 1972 Buick, ran into a 1974 Scout driven by Ferris Fullmer. There was about $150 damage to the Scout and $100 damage to the Buick, and , Froehlich was cited for follow-n follow-n ing too close, causing an accident. An act of vandalism occurred occur-red Aug. 18 at the Greenwcll Motel when a window; valued at $30 was broken. This is still under investigation. |
