New Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bleggi making home in Springville One of the lovely social events of the mid-winter season was the wedding and reception for Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bleggi, in the Fourth Ward Church. The bride is the former Miss Judy Tipton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Tipton and Leon's Le-on's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Angelo Bleggi also of Springville. Spring-ville. The brido chose for her wedding wed-ding attire, a gorgeous white velvet gown designed with bell-skirt, accented by a bustle and floor-length train. The fitted fit-ted bodice featured long pointed point-ed sleeves. Her full flowing veil fell from a pill-box headpiece' and she carried a bridal bouquet of roses surrounding an orchid with satin wedding-knotted streamers. Attending the bride were: Sharon Tipton and Glenna Tip- ton, sisters of the bride; Ann Crandall, LaRue S. Child, Connie Con-nie H. Child, Carol F. Mitchell and Bette Snelson. They wore turquoise corduroy bell-skirt gowns and their flowers were turquoise tinted mums. William Bleggi, brother of the groom was best man. Assisting with reception of the guests were parents of the bride and groom, Mrs. Tipton wearing a turquoise sheath with overskirt and Mrs. Bleggi, turquoise brocade. Their carnation car-nation corsages were tied with silver ribbon. Allan Tipton was also in the line. Greeting guests at the door, were, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Lee and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ruff. Kathy M. Hiatt and Mary Sue T. Nielson were at the guest register. Grant Palfreyman, Bob Gottfredson, Ted Murray and Clyde Cazier were ushers. In the gift room Were Donna Bleggi, Linda E. Johnston, Mrs. Marguerite Hales, Judy White and Mrs. John Crawford. Serving were Vicki Antonino, Linda Parker, Glenda Bleggi, Shauna Bona and Linda Bona. Mary Parker and Sharon E. Norton presided at the buffet table. An attractive feature of the decorative theme was the cloverleaf-shaped wedding cake decorated with pink rose-buds and silver leaves. The .couple spent a few days honeymooning in Northeastern Utah and are now at home at 614 South Fourth East in Springville, while Leon continues contin-ues his studies at the Utah Trade Technical Institute at Provo. Judy is employed at the City offices. |
