In a lovely home ceremony, Miss Vontella Gardner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Gardner, became the bride of Keith Smith, son of Mrs. Melissa Smith, also of Springville. The wedding took place Tuesday Tues-day .morning at 9 o'clock, with Bishop Glenn Christensen of the Fourth ward officiating. Close relatives . and friends of the bride and groom witnessed the ceremony. cere-mony. The bride's sister, Ve'rla Dean Gardner, was maid of honor, and the groom's brother, W. P. Smith, was best man. The wedding march was played by Beverly Hancock. The bride was charmingly attired in a pale blue crepe dress and matching accessories with an orchid or-chid corsage. Immediately after the ceremony, members of the wedding party were entertained at a breakfast, given by Mr. and Mrs. Gardner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Velt Hancock. Covers were arranged for about twenty-five twenty-five guests. A beautiful three-tiered wedding cake topped with a miniature bride and groom, centered the dining table and lovely Spring flowers were used as other decorations. deco-rations. The bride and groom left immediately imme-diately after the ceremony for a honey moon trip to Fish lake. Upon their return, they plan to make their home in Springville. |
