Show Popular Couple Married In Salt Lake Temple Rites Venice Whiting, Miss Elaine Brockbank, Miss Phyllis Smart, Miss Dayma Grant, Miss Velma Olsen, Miss Marge Aldous, and Miss Maxine Merrill. In charge of the gift room were Miss Marie Rivers, Miss Sara Ann Costly, and Miss Margaret Childs. The bride will continue her school work at Payson and with the close of school will join Dr. Pace at San Diego, Calif., to make their home. Dr. Pace will be stationed sta-tioned as an interne in a base hospital hos-pital in that city. THE FIREMEN'S AUXILIARY MEMBERS WERE GUESTS of Mrs. Glenita Ollerton at her home on Monday evening. Mrs. Phyllis Nielson was assisting hostess. hos-tess. The group enjoyed cards and a tasty lunch. In attendance were Mrs. Marjorie Bird, Mrs. Mary Friel, Mrs. Noma Thorpe, Mrs. Leona Wilson, Mrs. Madelyn Des-pain, Des-pain, and Mrs. Lucille Smith. r 4 A nuptial note of interest to their many friends and relatives is announcement of the marriage of Miss Pauline Clyde, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Clyde of this city, and Dr. Joseph L. Pace, son of Dr. and Mrs. Garland H. Pace, of 28 North State street, Salt Lake City. The ceremony was performed in the Salt Lake temple on Friday, March 27. Immediately after their marriage, mar-riage, the couple were honored with a wedding breakfast given at the home of the groom's parents for immediate family members. On Saturday evening, the bride and groom were honored with a lovely wedding reception given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde, and to which approximately 250 relatives and friends attended. The bride was charmingly gowned gown-ed in a white satin wedding dress with high neckline and long full train. A flowing veil of tulle was caught to her head with a wreath of lilies-of-the-valley. Receiving the guests in addition to the wedding party were parents par-ents of the bride and groom. The Misses Katherine Pace, Virginia Vir-ginia Tuttle, and Ha Clyde were bridesmaids, with Miss Delia Baxter Bax-ter as maid of honor. All were attired at-tired in identical dresses of white taffeta with becoming short veils. They carried fans of sweet pea3. Udell Pace, brother of the groom, was best man.
