Show Couple Takes Wedding Vows In Salt Lake Temple : MR. AND MRS. LEO WEIGHT ENTERTAINED AT A PARTY at their home on Friday evening for a number of friends. A delicious deli-cious supper was served early and later progressive "500" was the diversion. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Walker, Mr. and Mrs. George Neison, Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Boyer, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Frandsen, and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Long. Prizes for the evening's card games went to Mrs. Clark and Jack Miller. THE HAFEN-DALLIN CLUB WELL MEET in their first meeting of the spring season at 4 p. m. Tuesday, April 7, in the high school art building, announces President Elizabeth Salisbury. Glen Turner, art supervisor, will give the first of a series of talks which he has prepared for the club to be given during the April art month. An invitation is extended to everyone to attend. MRS. RUTH ROYLANCE WAS HOSTESS to members of the Cultural Arts club at her home on Wednesday evening. Featuring the program, Mrs. Sterling Ercanbrack of Provo reviewed re-viewed the book, "Watch On the Rhine," in a very interesting manner. man-ner. At the close of the meeting, a delicious Easter luncheon was served by the hostess to club members and six guests. Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Mary Miner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thorn C. Miner of Philadelphia, Pa., to John Taylor Marshall, son of Professor Pro-fessor and Mrs. Thomas Marshall of Provo. The ceremony was performed per-formed Wednesday, March 25, in the Salt Lake temple. An informal reception honored the young couple after their marriage mar-riage at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Fred Taylor, grandparents of the groom, Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Miner of this city also entertained at a family party at their home on Monday evening in honor of the newly married couple. The bride has been employed as a graduate technician at the Utah Valley hospital, and plans now to go to the Wasatch laboratory in Salt Lake City to continue her work. Mr. Marshall will receive his degree de-gree from the Brigham Young university this spring. THE MAPLETON HIGH PRIESTS GAVE A PARTY on Saturday evening in the amusement amuse-ment hall with about forty members mem-bers of the quorum and their partners in attendance. The entertainment consisted of a banquet and program during which Roy Despain showed moving mov-ing pictures of his recent river trips and Mrs. Despain read her diary of the trips.
