The serving table, covered with a white lace cloth was centered with a three-tiered three-tiered wedding cake in turquoise and white color theme, featunng love birds and roses in trim ana topped with three bells and ribbon bow Completing the scene were sterling silver candelabras and garlands of white and green stock with turquoise net. Soft organ music was played during the evening. Presiding over the guest book, serving and gift display were close friends of the bride. The newly weds were further honored at an open-house reception recep-tion given by the parents of the bridegroom at their home here. Floral decorations featured pink and white color scheme. Little Lynn and Nan Marie Runolfson were gift bearers. Those serving the luests were four neighborhood friends of the junior bridesmaid: Jane Peery, Mary Margaret Strong, Lynn Jeffers and Julie Oldroyd. The bride was a 1954 graduate of Las Vegas high school where she was an outstanding student. She has completed her sophomore year at BYU where her affiliations affilia-tions included O. S. Trovata Social Unit. . The bridegroom, a Springville high school and Seminary graduate, gradu-ate, was also outstanding in scholastic scho-lastic and civic activities, being mayor of the 1954 student body, and a former Boy Stater from Springville. He is continuing his studies at Brigham Young University Univer-sity in his junior year, and is a member of the Viking Social Unit. Mr. and Mrs. Lauren Lee Bryan, nee Miss Joyce. Austin Mr., Mrs. Lauren Lee Bryan at Home In Provo After Temple Ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Lauren Lee Bryan are making a temporary home at Provo after returning from their honeymoon in Las Vegas and near-by canyons. They were united in marriage with a traditional LDS, double-ring cere- I mony solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple, September 6, with President Presi-dent John Hawkes of the Temple Presidency, officiating. The bride, the former Joyce Austin, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth S. Austin, Las Vegas, Nevada. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lauren Bryan of this city. Following the ceremony, immediate immed-iate family members and close friends of the couple were guests at a wedding dinner at Bart's Cottage, Cot-tage, given by parents of the bridegroom. bride-groom. The newlyweds were honored at a garden reception where 300 guests gathered at the home of the bride's parents in Las Vegas, the following Saturday evening. The bride was as striking as a portrait por-trait in her floor length bridal gown of White chantilly lace and tulle, delicately inset with seed pearls. The fitted bodice was of lace, and was fashioned with pon-ticed pon-ticed sleeves and round neck outlined out-lined with lace appliques. The full bouffant skirt was tiered with alternated al-ternated tulle and lace. Pearls and rhinestones formed the crown from which fell her fingertip, tulle veil of bridal illusion. Her crescent bouquet was composed of pink, feathered carnations, rose buds, and Lillies of tho valley, which were centered with a large white orchid and tied with white satin streamers. Turquoise and white were the colors which the bride chose for her wedding. As her sister's matron ma-tron of honor, Mrs. - Lee Edwards selected a pastel turquoise, crystalline crys-talline princess-styled dress, highlighted high-lighted with white jewel trim. Her matching hat was net and white flowers, and she carried a crescent shaped bouquet of turquoise and white carnations, tied with satin streamers. Identical ensembles in deeper turquoise were worn by the bridesmaids; brides-maids; the Misses Jeanne A. Austin, Aus-tin, Becky Broadbent, and Lucille Bryan, and a junior bridesmaid, Deanna Bryan. Petite Kim Edwards, Ed-wards, niece of the bride, was attired at-tired like the bridesmaids, and she carried a basket of flowers. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Austin Aus-tin chose a dress of biege lace ensemble en-semble trimmed in toast color, and with accessories of toast hue. Mrs. Bryan, mother of the bridegroom, selected a biege lace ensemble with pink accessories. Each wore a purple orchid corsage.
